picture taken with famous people. there's paul ryan. and the charges have been dropped. right now, we want to get to josh and the american airlines scare. >>> big news breaking right now, george. aboard an american airlines flight, they actually had to make an emergency landing because some of the seats in the cabin got loose. somehow becoming unbolted. abc's senior correspondent jim avila is here. >> reporter: good morning, josh. abc news has confirmed that american airlines is investigating how and why a row of seats aboard one of its boeing 757s, flying between boston and miami came loose from the cabin in midflight. while no one was hurt, three passengers were moved to other seats in the cabin, and once the plane landed safely, the passengers and all of them boarded another flight to miami. they suffered a three-hour delay. american, of course, has been suffering through labor issues as it goes through bankruptcy in attempts to cut its maintenance workforce. this comes on top of lots of problems for the airline as it suffers what it fears are pilot sit-outs. what has happened so far, t

romney's proposed with paul ryan an ambitious reformation of the program that would go to voucher, but he hasn't said what the level of the voucher would be or the growth rate in the voucher. if you don't specify that, you can't specify what your savings will be or the impact on consumers. and finally president obama last year in the grand bargain talks with house speaker boehner talked about more ambitious proposals than medicare than he's advocated so far like raising the eligibility age from 65 to 67. hasn't said a word about that in the election campaign so far. you can expect the two to clash on that issue, as well. >> john, i know you've looked at some poll numbers from the journal and nbc news. maybe a slight tightening on a national level. but certainly in some important states like ohio, the president continues to lead. i know you've said the romney strategists believe they need ohio. if it's mathematically possible to win without it, why do they still believe they need it? >> well, because if you don't win ohio, you're probably not going to win, say, wisconsin, which is another

think that can't be very much the white house chief of staff the budget director paul ryan as vice president who knows a lot about this and whoever is the treasury secretary meeting twice a day i would guess that the white house at 9 a.m. and 5 p.m. with senior white house staff and maybe the secretary gets to be in those meetings for a big part of it and everyone else is sort of, you know, getting their secretary confirm and getting to know the law authorizing committees on the hill and the rest of the administration i would hope they would move to more of a modernizing government and a whole bunch of other things that can be done in the department which really need to be approved before the policy point of view and execution and the administration point of view but i do think my sense they are right about this and very focused on the first six to nine months. if you want to do that you these extremely strong white house controls and if i were advising you are my best people i would sit in at the white house and when the treasury at the beginning. we want to beat cabinet secretari

bella. labella is seen posing here with paul ryan and reality star kim kardashian in photos on facebook reportedly met lohan over the weekend at this trendy manhattan nightclub. lohan told police that at the end of the evening, she and a group of friends invited her back to her room. but the star said when she found pictures of herself partying on his phone she took it. and confronted it. that's when lohan says he threw her on to the bed, scratching her hands. police say lohan ran out of the room and into a stairwell, but labella allegedly followed her, choking her from behind and throwing her to the ground. at that point, lohan told police she pulled a fire alarm. officers later arrested labella as he tried to leave the "w." he was initially charged with third degree assault and harassment, but the charges were later dropped. >> this is more high school than it is criminal. the police really sort of view this as a minor altercation. >> reporter: police now say they have documented harassment complaints from both lohan and labella. >> it really is no surprise something like this happens
